In the sketchbook...

Finally I had a chance recently to do some covert drawing on public transit. It feels really good when I come back from a hiatus with ballpoint pen.
Here I am experimenting with "Light and Drama" in watercolors.

Man Reading

Having fun with watercolors. It's funny, I was sooooo close to this guy staring at him while drawing yet he never looked up.

Little People (tots)

‎"Kiddy on the Train"
This little girl did not want to be in the stroller while trying to soak up the excitement of riding the train. I feel the same way kiddy' When I ride the train I would rather be sitting on top of the car in fighter pilot goggles, inhaling the fresh oxygen thrusting at my face while drawing the experience.

I love MOLESKINE sketchbooks. I picked up a giant watercolor folio today and peeled into it right away on the train. I Woke up at 4am and splashed some color on one of the drawings.

In the sketchbook today...

Another drawing i started on the AC Transit that I added acrylic paint to at home.
I always want to see the process photos of my favorite artist... there aren't enough out there so I will be posting my process photos from now on for those who can gain from them. I find that you can learn a great deal by studying the step by step shots even when there is not instruction. Sometime artist who like to record they're process, have days when we get so wrapped up in the adventure of creating the art that we forget to record the journey.
