Cross Culture & Genre - Creative Figure Drawing

I haven't updated my blog in a while, been working working working on art. I will add all of the recent images as soon as I photograph them... quite a bit of stuff. Here is one of my recent creative figure drawings done at UC Berkeley. I've been experimenting around with a mixture of culture and genre. In this piece I examine what I call a "Sci Fi-Victorian" (Scitorian) lingerie garment, the Maroi culture tattoos and a Japanese anime Mecha head. Also mixing fine art genre with concept illustration.

Day 4 of 20 Dayz of Drawings

Day 4
I really love the colors in this one. I took quite a few photos to get the right shot for this image. I thought he blended in well with the people enjoying the bench. At the end of this 20 day challenge I'm gonna do 24 more days.

Day 3 of 20 DAYZ OF DRAWINGS

Day 3 of 20 DAYZ OF DRAWINGS
Man... this is getting fun!! I spent the day riding public transit buses and trains in San Francisco drawings people. Stopped by the bookstore to get some fuel (inspiration) then hit the street again snapping photos and sketching up a tornado creativity. This 20 day challenge has really got me fired up - I can hardly wait to see what comes next.
